Triple-Arch Gateway — Somerset
📍 Somerset, England • 2023
A monumental triple-arched entry gateway in Carrara marble and Bath limestone. The central arch spans 4.8m and carries a decorative carved keystone weighing 640kg. Flanking arches house automated oak gates within stone rebates.
The project required 14 months from geological survey to final installation. Foundation piling was required to 3.5m depth due to clay substrate. Over 180 individual voussoir blocks were hand-dressed on site.
Grand Belvedere Hotel Courtyard

A 1,200 m² bespoke herringbone paving installation using hand-set Portuguese porphyry and Belgian blue limestone. The pattern radiates from a central mosaic medallion featuring the hotel's crest — 14,000 individual pieces, all hand-cut.
Hydrophilic drainage channels were engineered below the surface to eliminate pooling entirely. Load-bearing capacity tested to 25 tonnes for delivery vehicle access. The installation required 8 weeks with a team of 12 master pavers.
Château Dupont — Seismic Wine Cellar

A barrel-vaulted wine cellar requiring seismic Zone 2 reinforcement while preserving the visual purity of traditional Roman vault construction. Our engineers combined 18th-century compression geometry with concealed stainless steel tie rods and carbon fibre lacing within the stone-work.
The cellar maintains precise 14°C and 70% humidity year-round through passive thermal mass — no mechanical climate control required. The vault spans 24m in length with a 4.2m rise and stores 80,000 bottles.
